Do we need reservations?
Yes! Holiday weekends fill quickly, so early booking is highly recommended. Get started here to give us the details of your event and check dates with our party planner.

What if my group is 15 people or less?
You can book your event right on our reservation page. Just give us the details of your event in the notes section before reserving so we can make it extra special!

How many people can you host at Stumpy’s Hatchet House in Jacksonville, FL?
Our venue holds up to 80 guests. Ask about private rentals.

Do you serve food and drinks as part of the party?
Yes! We do have a small kitchen for in-house offerings, but we recommend a catering package for large groups. We work with other businesses in the Springfield neighborhood, including Strings Sports Brewery, Crispy’s and Wafaa and Mike’s. If you’d like to handle the catering on your own, we’re fine with that! Just coordinate with our Events Planner so we can be sure to have a buffet table set up for you!

Besides axe throwing, what else do you have at Stumpy’s?
Our guests enjoy an epic competitive socializing through steel tipped darts, corn hole, ping pong, shuffleboard, billiards (pool), football bowling and a variety of giant games! There is something for everyone!

Do you have any specials going on?
We do! We have a variety options for your budget, from a festive Happy Hour to a full blown AXEtravaganza!

Can we have a party during the day when you are closed?
Definitely! With advance planning, we will open during non-business hours for private and semi-private events. This is based on availability.

Do you allow costumes or themes?
Absolutely — make it festive and fun! Our decor is rustic with holiday decor that is warm and inviting. No need to bring extra decorations, but we’ve seen groups wear their ugliest Christmas sweaters and brought Santa along for the party. Feel free to personalize your party!

Are children allowed to attend parties? Can they throw axes?
We are family friendly and allow children to attend parties. Kids age 10 and over can be trained by our throwing coaches and throw axes. We have special light weight throwing hawks that allow them to land the bullseye with ease! We also have other kid-friendly games. Children of all ages are welcome, as long as they are closely supervised by an adult.
